Tiers & benefits

Status levels that reward loyalty: thresholds, windows, downgrades that don't insult anyone, and benefits your storefront can read.

Structure

Up to 10 levels. Each tier qualifies on spend, coins earned and/or order count — one criterion or several, combined as ALL or ANY — measured over lifetime, calendar year, rolling 12 months, or a custom number of days. A level-1 tier may use a ₹0 threshold: an entry tier every member holds from their first evaluation.

ExampleVibeClub: Starter ₹0+ · Rider ₹5,000+ · Legend ₹10,000+ · Icon ₹20,000+, all on rolling 12-month spend. A hybrid alternative: "Legend = ₹10,000 spent AND 5 orders" keeps one-basket whales out of the top tier.

Moving up and down

Members upgrade the moment they qualify. Downgrades are gentler: a shortfall first arms the tier's grace period; when it lapses, the member drops at most one level per evaluation (soft landing). Manual overrides — with an audited reason — always beat automatic placement until you clear them.

Evaluation: manual or nightly

  1. 1Manual (default): nothing moves until you press "Evaluate all members now" on the Tiers page — full control, no surprises.
  2. 2Automatic: enable nightly evaluation in Settings → governance and members move by their spend every night.

Per-tier earn rates

Give higher tiers better rates by stacking rules scoped with minimum tier level (see Earning rules). Rates upgrade the moment the member's tier does.

Benefits your storefront can read

Each tier carries a free-form set of benefit flags — free shipping, early access, members-only drops, VIP support, extended returns. They're not decorative: the storefront theme block and the API both return the member's tier with its benefits, so your site can gate a secret sale on secretSales: true.

Good to knowCheckout-side enforcement (free shipping actually applied, prepaid-only redemption) happens in your store platform — the benefits data tells your theme who qualifies; free-shipping redemption codes cover the rest.
