Member email
What your members hear from you, when — and how to make it look like you rather than like software.
The three moments
Members are told at the three points they actually care about, and nowhere else. No digests, no “we miss you”.
· Points earned — after an order, saying how much and when it unlocks.
· Ready to spend — the moment held coins clear your return window.
· Store credit added — once the money is genuinely on their Shopify account.
Your words, not ours
Settings → Email → Member notifications. Each message has an on/off switch and an “Edit wording” panel covering the subject, heading, body and button label.
Placeholders fill in the real numbers:
The designer
Settings → Email → Open the email designer. Drag blocks onto the canvas — heading, text, a big number, a progress rail, buttons, detail rows, images, dividers. Click a block to edit it; with nothing selected you get the email-wide settings (header style, fonts, background, the inbox preview line).
Preview shows the real email at desktop and mobile widths — the canvas is a working approximation, the preview is the truth. Send test puts it in your own inbox, which is the only way to judge how it lands in a real mail client.
Prefer to write the markup yourself? The HTML tab hands over the source. Scripts, iframes, event handlers and unsafe links are stripped when you save, and you are told exactly what was removed rather than quietly having your work altered.
Sending as you
Once you verify your domain (Settings → Email → sender identity), member mail comes from your address. Until then it sends from our verified address carrying your sender name — never from an unverified address, which mail providers would treat as spoofing and reject.
