What coins buy: the redemption catalogue, the manual fulfilment queue, and automatic birthday & anniversary bonuses.

The catalogue

The Rewards page defines what members redeem for, each with its own wallet cost:

· Fixed discount (₹100 off) · Percent discount (15% off) · Free shipping · Free product — all issued as single-use Shopify codes with your store's minimum-order rule applied.
· Store credit — real money on the customer's Shopify account, applied automatically at checkout with no code to enter.
· Access / service — granted by your team from the fulfilment queue.

Store credit

Store credit is the only reward that is actual money rather than a discount. It sits on the customer's Shopify account, applies itself at checkout, and can be spent across several orders. Two shapes:

· Fixed — a set exchange, e.g. 5,000 coins for ₹500.
· Member chooses the amount — you set the rate and a minimum; they decide how much to convert. Worth preferring: fixed rungs strand coins, because someone with 7,000 sitting against a 5,000 rung takes one and leaves 2,000 they can never use.

Good to knowStore credit can only go to a customer with a Shopify account. Members who joined by email alone route to your fulfilment queue instead — nothing fails, it just needs a human.

Good to knowCancelling a store-credit redemption takes the money back first, then refunds the coins. If the member already spent it, the coins are not refunded — otherwise they would receive the value twice.

The portal shows the full catalogue; rewards a member can't afford are visible but disabled with exactly how much more they need — a nudge, not a wall. Unused discount codes return their value to the wallet after expiry, automatically.

The fulfilment queue

Store-granted rewards wait in a queue on the Rewards page. Mark fulfilled (with an optional note) when granted; Cancel & refund returns the coins instantly. Both are audited with the acting admin.

ExampleA VibeClub member redeems "₹100 store credit" for 8,000 VibeCoins → the coins leave their wallet immediately, the request appears in the queue, staff apply the credit at POS and mark it fulfilled.

Birthday & anniversary bonuses

Configure amounts in Settings → governance. Members share their birthday on the portal's Privacy page — their choice, editable, removable. Each bonus is granted automatically once per year (join-date anniversaries skip the join year), lands as an available "promotional grant" the member sees explained in their history, and can never double-fire — restarts, retries and re-runs all collapse to a single grant.
